App of the Year Awards 2013

The App of the Year Awards was held on Tuesday night the 27th of August at The Venue, Melrose Arch.

The event, conceptualised by Creative Space Media and headline sponsored by MTN Business showcased locally developed applications that had made a positive and lasting impact on consumers over the last 12 months. The Gold Sponsors included Core Group, BlackBerry, 4i Mobile Applications, Nokia, Business Connexion and mLab.

Host and MC, comedian Joey Rasdien, kept the audience highly entertained with his unique brand of irreverent, South African humour. Read more

Jonathan Hoehler
Jonathan worked in the African mobile telecoms space for Starfish Mobile International Inc for almost 8 years, where he was exposed to the countless industry possibilities present on the continent. Read more
Max Stone
Max wrote his first application on the Sinclair ZX81 and Apple II home computers 30 years ago, bought his first pocket computer, a Psion Organizer, back in 1989, and has been actively involved in the mobile computing market ever since. Read more
